It has got firm grey-green leaves with bluish shade, trunk is covered with brown fibres, this compact form of Nannorrhops comes from the west of Kashmir where it grows in the regions with frequent precipitation in winter in the form of snow. It is resistant against dampness and can withstand temperatures up to -23ºC
